Power to Save Program Helps Businesses

Mississauga, Canada - May 15, 2010 - Dial One Wolfedale Electric, one of Ontario’s leading commercial electrical contractors, announced today the launch of its new Power to Save program, an energy conservation initiative to help businesses take advantage of government rebates as they invest in energy-efficient technology to reduce consumption and costs.

“Ontario has a number of important incentive programs available to businesses right now. Yet, many are still not aware of the opportunities available, or how they can qualify,” said Jackie Strachan, General Manager of Dial One Wolfedale Electric. “That’s where our experts can really add value”.

Businesses remain cost-conscious as the economy slowly recovers, so Dial One Wolfedale Electric is reaching out to customers to help them take advantage of the available incentives and save hundreds, or even thousands, of dollars every month.  The Power to Save program also offers Dial One Wolfedale Electric customers preferred pricing on installations of new, energy efficient technologies.

Available incentives cover a variety of energy-efficiency projects, from lighting systems to industrial machinery and heating/cooling systems, which are large consumers of electrical power with enormous impacts on operating costs.  Also included are renewable energy generation projects that benefit companies over the long term if sufficient energy is produced to cover their usage, or if excess energy generated is sold back into the grid.

Dial One Wolfedale Electric’s extensive renewable energy experience includes working with Resco Energy to connect the largest solar array installation in Canada.  Renewable energy projects, including both solar and wind power, are of increasing interest to Dial One Wolfedale Electric customers because they not only deliver reduced energy consumption and improved efficiency, they also offer the opportunity to offset operation costs.

“Our Power to Save program helps to make energy conservation achievable. We work to understand our customer’s consumption patterns and identify the projects that will show them the greatest benefit. With our help, our customers receive the financial incentives they need to make the energy-efficiency changes that benefit both their bottom line and the environment,” said Strachan.

Dial One Wolfedale Electric’s customer-centered programs and services are at the forefront of the industry in promoting innovative, energy-efficient technologies. The company provides customers with the information they need to make informed decisions about energy use and conservation. It also helps those businesses take action to improve energy efficiency, lower energy costs in the work environment and contribute positively to environmental protection.
