Challenge: Installation of a multi-level waste sortation system to maximize throughput.
Solution: Installation of 3 separate control panels linked to a central control to achieve high efficiency.
This $1.4 million project involved the installation of a waste sortation system manufactured by CP Manufacturing, of California. Dial One Wolfedale Electric handled the base building construction and the installation of the automated conveyor and other systems.
Three separate control panels were installed and linked to a central control room to allow for maximum throughput throughout the building. This multi-level system is the newest technology of its kind in the GTA, and was successfully installed and commissioned within 5 months.
